HD CCTV
the IP surveillance system for your need
CCTV INSTALLATION & SUPPLY SERVICES
Closed circuit television is essential if you’re serious about protecting your people, premises and property.
CCTV has seen incredible advances in recent years, transforming its capability out of all recognition. These advances significantly improve security performance and vastly reduce installation and maintenance costs.
- Higher resolution cameras with up to 30 megapixel CCDs using CMOS chipsets
- Wireless networking capability to link cameras to controllers and recording devices
- Improved image fidelity as reduced storage costs eliminate the need for compression
Excav designs, installs and maintains CCTV solutions that are fit for the purpose you intend. Based in Ara Damansara, our network of engineers reaches across the Malaysia. Whether it is a relatively modest or a high end state of the art solution, our systems are only specified after we have fully determined your needs with a thorough Security Risk Assessment.
CCTV is the heart of an integrated system and supports verification of intruder and fire alarm activations. For large sites where the safety of thousands of people or premises with high value goods, cash or valuables and works of art, verification is essential if false positives are to be quickly and effectively screened out and positive activations prioritised for appropriate response by police or fire and rescue services.
In conjunction with image processing and advanced software tools, today’s CCTV systems work to prevent crime, enable identification of persons of interest and assist in detection. Whatever your application, and wherever you are in KL, Klang Valey or the Malaysia, Excav CCTV solutions provide outstanding performance and value to help you achieve your security objectives.
ANALYTICS
Advanced IVS
Facial Detection, People Counting, Heat Map, Auto-tracking
Your security network should allow you to know what’s happening on your site and monitor everything that’s taking place, whether you’re there or not. Analytics provide this and more, making your cameras smarter by accurately identifying people, vehicles such as cars and lorries and even boats by comparing an object’s appearance and motion.
Having an extensive camera network can be difficult to monitor as it’s hard to have your eyes on all cameras at one time. Video analytics help make your security easier to manage by alerting you as soon as irregular activity happens on your site, instead of every time it senses any motion, like more traditional solutions such as video motion detector systems.
How does analytics work?
Premium IVS
Motion, Scene Change, Abandoned/Missing Object, Tripwire, Intrusion
Analytics works much like a digital guard, watching over your cameras and alerting you as soon as something suspicious occurs on your site. Your analytics can look into a variety of different things via your cameras such as tailgaters coming through barriers, or staff members who seem to be inactive when there should be motion, and enable you to make the most out of your security network.
These systems are automated, allowing you get on with your day, responsive, so you can leave the site knowing you’ll be alerted as soon as an event occurs, and fast, allowing you to warn away an intruder using an audio loudspeaker before a serious incident happens.

Why choose analytics?
After 22 minutes guards monitoring cameras miss up to 95% of all activity, analytics monitors 100% of all activity 100% of the time. It also captures information on suspicious or criminal activity better, improving your chances of a successful prosecution. In addition to making the most out of security systems and providing you with peace of mind, analytics can offer a range of additional features such as:
- Missing object detection
- Graffiti warnings using audio loudspeakers
- Loitering alerts
- Crowd monitoring
- Tailgating alarms
- Abandoned bag detection
What are the benefits of analytics?
- Better use of your cameras
- 100% of all activity monitored
- 99% detection accuracy
- Alerts from anywhere in the world
- Real-time remote viewing

Low Light Technology

Specifying a security camera for low-light environments isn’t a one size fits all solution. Each application has its own set of challenges, lighting constraints and budget requirements. Dahua offers four low-light technology tiers, Basic Starlight, Enhanced Starlight, Starlight+ and Night Color Technology to make it easy to choose the correct camera that fits your needs and your budget.
Seeing in the Dark for Around the Clock Surveillance
Specifying a security camera for low-light environments isn’t a one size fits all solution. Each application has its own set of challenges, lighting constraints and budget requirements. Dahua understands this dilemma and offers four low-light technology tiers, Basic Starlight, Enhanced Starlight, Starlight+, and Night Color Technology to make it easy to choose the correct camera that fits your needs and your budget.
Multiple Low-light Levels to Meet Your Needs
Night Color
24/7 Invisible color surveillance at 1 lux. Image remains in constant color with no IR cut filter.
Basic Starlight
Good low-light performance for applications down to 0.008 to 0.009 lux. Features an IR cut filter.
Enhanced Starlight
Enhanced low-light performance under dark conditions down to 0.005 to 0.007 lux. Features an IR cut filter.
Starlight+
The best low-light performance down to 0.004 lux or lower. Features an IR cut filter.
Thermal Imaging

The Dahua Thermal Network Bullet camera combines an uncooled VOx Microbolometer sensor with an athermalized lens to produce high contrast thermal images. The camera produces clear images in total darkness, and delivers usable images in fog, rain, and snow, offering covert surveillance without the need for external light.
Thermal Advantage
- See through Rain, Fog and other inclement weather
- See people, animals behind foliage and in total darkness
- See through obscurants (smoke, dust, haze)
- See beyond the glare of a bright light
- Effective at all hours, in all weather types
Thermal and ePoE Technology
Regardless of infrastructure, Dahua’s next generation thermal cameras feature Dahua’s patented ePoE technology for installation over standard UTP or coaxial. Thanks to ePoE’s flexible installation, these cameras are suitable for mission-critical applications that require long-distance transmission up to 800m without repeaters for a higher savings on your surveillance system.

Early Fire Detection
- Thermal imaging is a field proven technology in detecting temperature anomalies, helping to mitigate large scale environmental disasters.
- With the early temperature anomaly or fire source detection, large scale environmental disasters can be avoided.
- Early fire detection is crucial for saving lives, tangible assets, time, money and resources.
Overheating Equipment signals imminent failure; Visually detect for:
- Overheated motor
- Internal fuse damage
- Damaged insulation
- Unsecure connection
- Worn out conveyor belt
- Hot bearings
- Overloaded pumps
- Lubrication problems
- Misalignments
